KonCANi Sammelan 2006 is pleased to announce the winners of the 2006 Distinguished Awards of Excellence. These awards will be given away during the Sammelan in Hamilton, ON, on July 1-3, 2006.

The Selection Committee comprised of representatives from NAKA, the Executive Committee of the Konkani Sammelan 2006, the Planning Committee of the Distinguished Awards of Excellence, Konkani Youth from N. America and a member from the Konkani community at large.

KonCANi Sammelan 2006 congratulates the winners for their outstanding achievements which have brought honor to themselves as well as to the Konkani community in North America. We hope the shining example they have set is an inspiration to our youth to also succeed in their chosen career paths.
