Important Note: Prospective delegates are advised that the Pay By Cheque option for registration has been discontinued as of 00:01 hrs ET, June 1st 2006 onwards. Those who have chosen the Pay by Cheque option before June 1st 2006 will have to ensure that their cheques reach the Sammelan by 00:01 hrs ET, June 10th 2006 for their registration to remain valid. If the delegates names do NOT appear on this page by June 10th 2006, they will be required to re-register themselves using the credit card option.Since the convention center can accommodate a maximum of 2,000 delegates, we are not permitted to accept registrations beyond this number. There will be NO registrations at the Sammelan itself in July 2006.

Registration Fee

Please note that the cutoff date for availing the discounted Registration fees will be based on the DATE OF RECEIPT of payment by the Sammelan. The date of registration on the website will not be taken into account for this purpose..

For delegates from United States and all other countries, except Canada:

For delegates from Canada:

Registration Guidelines

1. Registration fees can be paid either by credit card at the time of the registration on our website or mailed in later by cheque. We must receive the payment cheque within 30 days of registration for the registration to remain valid.

2. Registrations are on a “first come first served” basis. On-site registrations may not be available. Register early.

3. Cancellations can be made in writing (by e-mail or by letter) only. Send the email to registration@konkani2006.com, or write to:

4. All requests for cancellations must be received on or before May 31, 2006. Cancellations are subject to an administrative fee of US$25/C$30 per delegate.

5. Cancellations received prior to March 31st, 2006 refunds will be issued by cheque within 30 days of cancellation. For cancellations received between April 1st, 2006 and May 31, 2006 refunds will be mailed after July 10, 2006.

6. There will be no refunds on cancellations after June 1, 2006.

7. Registration confirmations will be sent by e-mail

Delegates from outside Canada are requested to ensure appropriate medical insurance coverage during their visit. Some medical insurance policies in the USA do not cover trips outside the USA including to Canada. Advance confirmation from your insurance providers would be prudent. First aid facilities will be available at the Sammelan venue.
